what inspection cover? theres a sticker on the drivers side door that has an axle ID code, and theres a tag on the cover on the rear differential that you can decode to know what gears you have.

they dont identify the location of the "tag attached to the inspection cover" I assume its the "tag on the cover on the rear differential" that you speak of.
