stock, gonna replace the inside pump with tubing and run external electrical pump

Stock setup with stock pump will work fine for a 5.0. Don't mess with a carb... take the time to do it right.

I put a tank off a 87 in my 84(I run the Holley Pro-jection). I used the stock lines as my return and made new feed lines. I use the in tank pump(low pressure) to get it to the Holley(high pressure)pump, which is mounted on the frame rails. I wish I would have grabbed the early 90's Ranger plastic tank that I seen at the salvage yard, then I could have just used the in-tank pump......
