What frame years will fit my '93?

The left rear frame rail and spring hanger is pretty well shot from rust. I'd like to splice on the rear end of another frame. Which years did they use this same frame in? Will an Explorer frame work?

Explorers will be different.

93-97 will be the same for sure, not sure if gen 1 or gen 2 frames are identical or not.

exploder frames are completely different.. i dont remember seeing anything different between my old 88 frame and my chicks 97 frame..

Thanks for the info. I was mostly wondering about the '98 and newer, since I have a better chance of finding one of those rust free. I guess I should have mentioned that preference. It's good to know the early frames may work too though.

Since the later model truck beds are the same, I can probably assume that at least the back half of the frames are the same.

Gen 2 & Gen 3 ('89-'97) have the same frame.

The '84-'88 have different frame horns (part where the front bumper mounts). The '98+ Rangers all have different frames from the fire wall forward.
