Im 32 years old with mild autism and i bought my first 4wd ranger in early part of december in 2022. I love my ranger its a 2002 with the 4.0 v6 sohc and fx4 off road package all original and all stock. I bought my ranger with my own money that i earned from working for $10,500.

Please ask me questions on my 02 silver ranger.

Thank You,
Gary DuBois

I had one just like it... auto transmission? Spider web seats?

I wish I would have bought it after the lease was up.

I called it the Silver Bullet.

It looks nice... congrats on a sweet rig!

I will help you find and locate your ranger you use to have so you can buy it back if you want to =)

What did you think of your spider web seats and everything else. What years did you own your 02 ranger in.

Very nice looking Truck Sir!

I had never heard of calling those seats "spider web". I call mine "cracked ice". Spider web works too, but that would take a very busy spider.

My 6 year old daughter (at the time of purchase) coined them "spider web" seats. I have just always called them that since.

cracked ice is cool too =) how did you come up with those words cracked ice for your seats

I am pretty sure someone on TRS called them "cracked ice" when they first came out and also said they didn't really care for them. I thought it was a fitting title and stuck with it. I think they are unique, and I like them. Apparently, not everybody shared my opinion because they were only available in the Ranger for one year. One thing positive I can say about them is they are very durable. Mine are approaching 300K miles on them and they are still in great condition just like the rest of the vehicle.

Is it possible to find out who the first person here on trs called them cracked ice. Why do you think my seats are unique ? what do you like about my seats ? why was the reason that ford only offered those seats style for only one year. How are my seats very durable ?

Please tell me everything about your red ranger and please send me more pictures =) I like your red ranger fx4 off road

It may be possible to find out who originally called the seats cracked ice, but I am not willing to spend that much time on it. It was many years ago.

The cracked ice/spider web seats are unique because they were only available one year for the 02 FX4.

I didn't say I like your seats; I said I like the cracked ice seats. That does include your seats. I like them because they are unique, and they look good in my opinion.

You would have to ask Ford why they only offered those seats for one year. I am guessing because they were not all that popular. Also, Ford many times change styles from year to year because they can.

I already told you why I think the ice cracked seats are durable. Mine have nearly 300K miles on them and are still in great condition.

Almost everything I have done to my FX4 is in my signature. I bought it new, and I also have a 1.5" torsion bar lift in the front.

Here are a couple pictures of my FX4. The first one is with 33" mud tires and the second is with it in action.

How do the cracked ice seats look good in your opinion.

I was wondering if you had any other reasons why you said your seats are durable.

I wish i could have bought my 2002 ford ranger fx4 off road new but i was 11 years old in 2002.

Im a stock truck type of guy thats why im not gonna add a 1.5" torsion bar lift in the front.

I love my 31 inch size tires on my fx4 off road.

where was that 2nd picture of your ranger taken at
