what does everyone do for a living!


Mechanical Engineering student (god I'm sick of calculus). Worked at Subway for 14 months, now work part time as a "Clerical Support Specialist." That's the offical job title. In reality I do mechanical devlopment in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for medium voltage power distribution equipment. And to think I got this job by just going to a guy's wedding:icon_confused:
 
i work at sonic...but im 17...my friends pay me cash to fix cars/computers....imma friggin nerd at computers, looked at requirements for college courses....aced them
 
Well I am new, but I'll play.

I work in Force Protection in Iraq. I have many tasks with in that job that all center around keeping people alive. Since I have taken over the job here we have had ZERO fatalities do to hostile action inside the wire on my watch. I put together threat vulnerability assessments, make recommendations to higher on what I feel may me vulnerable areas, and I provide security in an untypical law enforcement form. I also design and oversee the construction of bunkers. I plan and implement tasks and physical protection that negates hostile action against coalition forces and civilian support personnel.

I'm a heavy equiptment operator of a bus that goes up and down and drives at about mach .83 and has radar.
 
What ya running for tires and rims?lift kit?

Michelin 9 ply, 80 psi, magnesium rims and yes I can lift them (and stow them). Hell yesterday I liften them to 37,000 feet.

worked before and after as tech/equipment manager at various golf courses.
manage one of four battery stores for the last 2 years.

skyjacker make a new lift kit ? last i heard they only make 8" kits but this is news to me.

how much did the 37k' springs cost? that must have been a B%TCH to get those in the buckets.:eek:
 
Program an IBM mainframe computer using COBOL.

Just started in June.

before that I was at College for 2.5 years, and before that I worked at a paper manufacturing plant making hanging filefolders. also drove fork truck and made wirebound notebooks and legal pads as well.

Customer service manager for an Industrial distributor. Full line distribution of hand tools,power tools,coated abrasives,fasteners, Damn near anything a factory or machine shop would need to run. Been here 23 years years and looking for something new.
