I wasn't sure where to post this, move where appropriate if needed...It's a 9" rear end out of a 63 Ford truck. It's been sitting in the garage for over a year now and I decided i'd clean it up for fathers day. My old man's over seas ATM but I got his permission to get it back together. I spent 7 hours doing that so far today and I have more grinding to do tomorrow then i'm going to prime it and paint it gloss black. I'm going to give it a personal touch for fathers day and I plan on painting "Chie'fs Toy" or "Chief's Truck" on the axle tubes. On the cover I plan on painting the year he went into the Air Force and the year he retired. I plan on painting that the color of the truck. He did 28 yrs and retired as E9 so I thought it would be a nice touch.
Here's a picture of what it's going in...
