What did YOU do today?

We do the same but we have only been married for 27 in august. Smartest thing i ever did was marrying her too.

WOW, coincidence! I’ve been married 27 years too. 12 to the first and 15 to the second. They say the third time is the charm.

You can't replace them too often, it takes too long to train them. Usually when I say that I get an elbow in the ribs.

Been a wonky week... yesterday was a whirlwind of emotions... the wife texted me in the early afternoon that her car wouldn't start, starter, tried to fix that last weekend and I made a calculated gamble by cleaning the starter and putting it back in instead of harvesting the one from the parts car to hopefully gain me a month... I didn't take into account that my luck is horrible which is why I don't gamble... it lasted 4 days... on her mile walk back to work from the estate sale she stopped at she decided to buy a new car (against my principles) and not include me in the decision at all. Anyway I took an hour and a half off work to go home and get tools and the starter from the parts car then fixed it... met back at home and she got there in a '26 Subaru Crosstrek... then we went and got the camry and back home...

She did get a good deal though and she's paying for it so I can't stay too mad or anything, I see her side too but dang I didn't know what to think for a few hours...

changed oil in the truck & greased the front end, tried to change o2 sensor but its not wanting to budge. Started raining as I was finishing up, double rainbow.

Last night I didn't have a whole lot of go left but I was able to get the spindle with bad bearings out and fixed from the finish mower for my tractor and greased the other two spindles... one of the other spindles isn't too far behind but it is freshly greased... I didn't put the belt back on because one of the idlers needs lubed (non greasable) so I'm holding off until tonight. In the middle of that my mom called and asked me to stop over today and look at her mower as she thinks she bent a blade, unfortunately it's an odd rear center discharge John Deere so it has a left and right blade and not cheap or easily obtainable.

Yesterday, hauled my uncle around and towed a car for him. 2010 Maxima on a 2 wheel dolly. Definitely wouldn't try to move anymore weight than that. Then convinced Brittney to go test her new gun she's had since November. Heritage Rough Rider. We used the last of a box of .22LR I've had since high school. (08) It was old enough that couple rounds didn't fire...

Today I started by getting a bird out the house, then some laundry and currently working on cleaning the tub/shower. Soaking with bleach right now. Hoping to get my KC lights rewired and the covers put back on.

Well. KCs are working but I really to add a ground to the fender where everything is currently connected. I'm sure the fender is good for 20 amps, but I'd prefer not to risk it.

I took the 85 Ranger to the lumberyard to pick up some potting soil and mulch. Planted a pear tree and a peach tree in the back yard. Then I went over to the farm and got my spare Mustang wheels out of the old school bus. They came with the truck when I bought it. Cleaned them up and put them on the 85 Ranger just for the hell of it. I'm going to list them for sale pretty soon I think.

Been spending 💰 like I have it...

I'm in the soon-to-be Formerly Free State of Virginia so several "someday" firearms projects became "the time is now" projects.

An 8.5" AR Pistol build in .300 Blackout.
An 11.5" AR SBR build in 5.56
Another finished Lower that I don't have a plan for yet.
And another stripped Lower just because.
Five ATF Form 1's submitted.

Holding off on Suppressors until next year since they will still be legal to buy (for now).
