Lincoln and I picked up a 28 foot extension ladder rated at 300 pounds from marketplace in (on) Big Red.

The end that’s on top that touches the wall is slightly bent for about 6 inches, otherwise perfect but dirty, and it’s missing the rope. I’ve got rope in the shed of miracles.

Storm preparations - fixed my gas fireplace, filled fuel tank in the Ranger, gricery shopping. Stopped at tje Sherriff Dep't and got my permit to sell non-ferrous scrap metal. Almost sold my catalytic converters. Need to find a different place and make sure I have the title with me. Then worked on my Explorer engine donor.

I was denied selling a bent up aluminum wheel because I couldn't prove ownership, in South Carolina.

Been a long week, was sick all day last sunday, did manage to go into work monday, but Brenda comes home early sick , in about the same shape I was in the day before. She takes vacation the rest of the week to try & recover, I gradually get better but have a much worse cough especially when I lay down. Went for a chest xray to rule out pneumonia (didn’t have) , continued to work all week, keep up with the household & take care of the wife. Today I mostly napped until it was time for my b.i.l.’s calling hours. Debated on even going since Ive not seen my sister but twice in the last 10 years but I did go, the cold air tonight didn’t do me any favors. Everything is in order if we get snowed in, Not sure what will happen until it does just like everyone else. Have the generator ready & plenty of fuel, plenty of food. Ready for this winter to be over though.

Got a bore scope from Amazon recently and finally pulled # 1 plug to take a look inside my 130k 3.0L. It runs great so I didn't expect to find anything, just wanted to see how the cylinder walls looked and look at the valves. Here's what I saw. Not to bad.
