What did YOU do today?

I packed for deer camp and loaded most of it in the truck. Since it is a drill weekend, I can't load the rifle and ammunition. So, I'll pick that up and my pistol from the house after drill. I also have to grocery shop before I head up to the camp. I'll be gone for the week and signal is spotty. So, I probably won't be on much.

Don’t worry. We’ll talk about you.

That is to be expected and a given.

Apparently, quite a bit of that is happening at the base as well. It is surprising as far as the number of people asking about me retiring.

Turns out I made one of my lower ribs mad yesterday doing something... lame... I'll power through but it's sure annoying.

question of the day: are you parked there because of the Spa, or H & R block?:dunno:

Spa treatments can’t be taxing…

I have no idea where that was, but the truck was clean and it was a good spot for a picture

@ Home, it's raining, and I have the #LatestCrud.
Trying not to choke myself on post-nasal drip, playing an 11yo game (still buggy even in the Anniversary Edition), and trying to figure out how to get my GMRS Badge now that I'm licensed [got it!].

Changed the nasty burnt power steering fluid in the '97 Ranger and rotated it's tires today, steers way better so far, going to have to do it again at least once to get all that old fluid out, annoying that I can't get a hose down in the reservoir to suck it out, no good way to cleanly drain it... ended up pulling the pulley so I could get it loose so the return could be pointed up then put a suction pump on and empty it... next time I'll just not pull it into the shop and try to put the pump hose on with losing as little fluid as I can...

Also worked on getting the rest of the pile of junk in the burn pit burnt, wet leaves don't want to... and dusted the walls in the shop office so it's more ready for texture.

New desk in my computer room.

I know it's raw 2x4 but its comfortable. Plenty of room underneath for my heater and storage ottoman thing. And it's 74x28 of desk space.

I've got to work on rearranging some other things in the room.
