Bought groceries, dealing with some pain issues. Taking it easy even though Im wanting to get things done. 20 year member! I know its been more than that what with the forum reboot all those years ago.

Spent some time overthinking what kind of tires to buy. Firestone Destination LE3, or maybe Falken Sincera SN250. I don't know.
I have a set of the LE2 version. they pick up small stones and throw them out at freeway speeds.

More painting of the drawer system panels, chopped up the leaves in the yard, helped setup for a gun bash at the VFW, and picked up a 2" X 2" X 0.25" , 49" long square tube for the future suspension upgrade for the utility trailer. So, all the parts are in hand to work on the trailer over the winter. I just need to take stock of the drill bits in the tool box. I may need to get some new ones to complete the job.

I’ve got LE3’s on mine, don’t notice rock throwing. They’re long wearing with a good warranty but will hydroplane a little.

After reading the reviews for various tires, it doesn't look like any of the other tires are much better for wet roads.

I got up, had a few cups of coffee and headed out. While driving on US-50 I was wondering why most of the traffic was eastbound instead of westbound toward Downtown Sacramento. I arrived at work, worked for about 90 minutes when it occurred to me nobody else was there. The I realized I accidentally went to work on Saturday.

Sounds like you need a long vacation.

Big car show about 25 miles north of me, over 800 cars! took a couple of hours to see it all. Really nice late 70’s ford trucks, only about 4 rangers, 1 bronco 2. a few early broncos. and the general!

Drove up to seguin and picked up a transmission, center console, bumper, and soft upper door frames for the jeeps. Then hit their jubilee at the town square and ate a cool historic building converted the a restaurant called 1916 bar and bistro. They had great wings and pulled pork sliders

Then drove home. Made 400 miles on the tank at 80

Put the toolbox back on the truck and organized and lightly cleaned the interior. Then took it to the creek for a little suspension break-in.

Went up to my buddy Paul’s place yesterday to work on getting the rest of the vehicles ready to move. Didn’t get everything done, but that’s fine, I just wanted progress. Added to the bent and broken tools collection though. After that was the church bonfire. Today is church and then a lunch with the leftover food from last night.
