What did YOU do today?

Finally cleaning crap off of the garage floor as I need more room for mechanic work. Today I finished a rack and two shelves over the main garage door to hold my Stihl equipment.

Got back home.

Literally spent two entire days driving in the past week+

Mmm I had to google... from wiki: 'The term graveyard is often used interchangeably with cemetery, but a graveyard primarily refers to a burial ground within a churchyard'

HA! Take THAT Florida man! Not a church for miles 😋
I honestly thought it was the other way around - "Cemetary goes with a Church" but I didn't use Google.

So WE BOTH learned something.
Thank you, & You're Welcome.

Team work makes the dream work!

I got called in at 4AM by the Sheriff’s Dept to tow in a Jeep and an electric scooter.

Got the edelbrock carb 98% installed on the caddy.. fires up like its injected now.

Buuuuuuut it's proving to be a car that once you fix one problem another one pops right up -__- lol. Oh well. At least now I can move it to a better spot in the yard for winter hibernation. Probably just gonna sell/trade it off come spring. Too much crap on my plate.

Started erecting the carport for the winter. The main structure is pretty much up except for a few braces. The side awning goes up tomorrow, weather permitting.

I do need to remember to get the wind blocking panels on the front porch before I do the side awning. They are easier to put into place without the awning being in the way. That and the butterfly bish needs cut back. It gets in the way of installing the awning and blocks the walking path along side of the carport.

Well my father in law bought him a offroad rig. I tried real hard to put him in a Ranger but he was dead set on it being 10 years old with around 100k miles. Not something easy to find around here in a Ranger 4x4. He ended up with a Pathfinder. So yesterday we took him out to get a feel for it. It did real well and he even hit the hard lines following me. I think he's hooked. Now to plan some overlanding/ car camping trip.

I attempted to unclog a tube of painter's caulk with a nail. Pressed the trigger and watched a little bit of caulk slowly come out of the end. I thought a little more pressure should push the dry caulk out of the end, so I pulled the trigger a few more times and blew out the tube of caulk.

Time for a another trip to the hardware store.

Drank a cup of coffee, then ran wild with the chainsaw for my uncle in exchange for letting me use his lift to fiddle with the ranger 👍

Decided it'll be less aggravating packing up my tools & welder and bringing it all 2 towns over to his house than dicking with it all in my driveway.

Only slightly less aggrivating really.. but I'll take it.

I got the main structure of the carport erected yesterday. Just a few braces need installed yet. It's too rainy be be up on a ladder today. So, those braces and the side awning can't be put up. Which means, I'll have to do laundry instead. Maybe it will be dry enough tomorrow.

Been there done that.
