The ball joints I just put in had the brand name of “detroit axle”. all 4 and are greaseable, for $40. Chances are they will last the rest of the time I have this truck.

Nope, 'fraid not, from Cass W.Va and the 413 is a just number that seems to follow me around...
And now I know there's a town in MA named Otis that has a 413 area code....

yanked the radio out and the center bezel that surrounds it. hopefully will be able to fix the cigarette lighter mount that broke last year, and maybe replace the drive belt in the cassette player so I can kick it like 1997 again and play tapes... or at least so the cassette adapter will work so I can play my music from my phone...

yanked the radio out and the center bezel that surrounds it. hopefully will be able to fix the cigarette lighter mount that broke last year, and maybe replace the drive belt in the cassette player so I can kick it like 1997 again and play tapes... or at least so the cassette adapter will work so I can play my music from my phone...

Installed some cheap eBay one piece headlights and plasti-dipped my grille, bumper, and badges in Anthracite Grey with Metallizer. Cheap and easy and looks great. Lights shine way better now although adjustment was a PITA.
