What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

while at a junkyard getting a wheel for the 2019 Edge I checked out some A pillar grab handles/trim for the 2000.
those are gray, I'm holding out for tan ones.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I found a good cab and frame for the F-150 at the junkyard by my ex-gf and worked out a preliminary deal and put some money down on it. I have a couple weeks to back out and get my money back, but I’m leaning towards going for it. It’s a 94 F-150, same color as mine originally was and I even spotted a factory sticker on the frame which usually doesn’t happen here in the rust belt. Interior isn’t the best and the frame is a 2wd, not sure how much trouble I’ll have making it a 4x4 frame, but if I have to I’ll straight axle it I guess.

Man, its 54 here today and no one is outside.

It's around 50-ish here. I'm replacing front wheel bearings and the broken hubs from last weekend. Beautiful cloudy day for driveway work.

It might be 54 in the hangar, maybe. We haven’t been able to get the heat fixed in years. The office is running about 63 right now. Same story.

When people try to tell you the military gets the best of everything, you now have an example to throw at them that, that isn’t the case.

Anything government is “brought to you by the lowest bidder”.

Yeah, the one that build this hangar and did a few other projects on base has been sued out of business for shoddy work. He should have stayed in government contracting where he could get away with it.

Finally ordered AAL’son Monday, they were delivered yesterday and installed today. Went with Superlift because they were so cheap. We’ll see how well they hold up. I also ordered bulk head fittings so I can install a power wire to the rear bumper to run a winch when I finally decide to buy it.

The military brass gets the best of everything. Fixed that for you. :)

Scrapped the ice and snow off the 2019.
