What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

Went and got a back window and now not sure it it's gonna work. Mine bolts in and one I got has no bolts. Junkyard to far to return right now.

Must have gotten a regular cab window, the extended cab windows bolt in but regular cab windows use the gasket, I think all used bolt in starting in '98

Took it for a nice, day off drive.

Got that topper picked up and in place. It needs a sliding window and a brake light replaced, and the strip that goes around the bottom needs to be glued back on but it's on the truck.

I finally got my e fan installed, thanks to all your help. Today I'm helping a friend restore his 2002 Edge. He needed a new tailgate, so we pulled this one from the junkyard. It needed work, of course. I should have it finished by the end of the day. A lot of rattle cans have died for my sins.

Dust shields for the 2011's front brakes just came in. I know what I'm doing today now.

EDIT: Slight change in plans. I'm going to need to prime and paint these before I install them.

I know mine were in rough shape last time in..on...

How much do those set a fella back?

That's a good price.

Yep. Even with shipping. I was pleasantly surprised.

Of course, they are bare metal but I’m in the process of remedying that in the garage right now. The primer is drying and then I’m going to hit them with some high temp header paint I had sitting in the garage.

I can’t remember why I got the paint but it was some high temperature related and being that it is for something in the engine bay, it should handle any brake heat and brake cleaner with no problem.
