I didn't have to take the intake manifold off. Just loosened the AC compressor bolts for extra room etc, and removed the serpentine belt to get to the valve cover bolts.

Taking garbage out through the garage... got my foot tangled in an extension cord and went face first into the front bumper. Knocked me out. Not sure how long I was out... probably a minute or two. Got both lips busted up and some how a cut on my cheek and another on my jaw.

Don't think I need stitches but son of a .....

I fixed the main ground wire, coming off the firewall to the engine. I also found a weird vacuum leak out of the top of the intake towards the firewall on right side. Truck is purring like a kitty now.

I keep waiting for something like this this to happen to me. I've been way too close to it too many times. Seems I'm just not as nimble as I used to be. Glad you are mostly okay (except for the bruised ego, I assume). I'm not sure I'll let y'all know when my moment comes.

Wrong thread. That isn't what you did to your Bronco II. That is what your Bronco II did to you. That thread has yet to be created, but you could create it and have the honour of writing the first post in it.
