- My credo
- Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Mice are jerks, I'm pretty sure that's why my '00 Explorer has some electrical issues that it didn't use to have... haven't taken the time to disassemble the dash to figure it out, it'd be nice if the cruise control worked again though... and I'm not sure what's going on with the check gauges light and why the center console thing says I need gas when it's at 1/2 tank now instead of when I actually do like it did before...
I got a cat to help stop the mice, I'm sure he helps but he's a jerk too... last night he brought a live mouse/vole in the house but I yelled at him when he was right inside the door, rodent ran out the door and he went after it so I locked him out. In the last 2 weekends I've been working on the gophers in the back of the property (with a 20 ga shotgun...), I know for sure I got 4, one went too far back in it's hole for me to be sure, but I got two voles while I was out there and wasn't seeing anything else... I know where there's 2 voles there's 5000, but I at least feel better doing something
I need to put up the raptor pole I have planned... there's red tailed hawks all over the place...
Unless the cat is a big ol fatty I'd keep it inside after you put the raptor pole up.
My mother had a hawk scoop one of her cats up off the picnic table back in the day.
