We need some positive news. What did you do to your Ranger taday?

After 10+ years of visiting anonymously, I finally joined this forum today! And wrote out my first post. and this is my first reply to another post! The title drew me in...

Today I asked for help chasing my high idle and coolant temp fluctuation issues...and been following responses throughout the day.

The rest of today, I am gonna reassemble everything from the thermostat up, perform some tests, and stalk my delivery man.

I did swap to a one piece driveshaft yesterday in the meantime

Made and installed some screen protectors for the 2011. I think they are better than that plastic crap Leer put in the cap for the 2019.

Drove it out of the garage turned it around and then nosed it back in. Driveshaft has to come out, might check fit on the front driveshaft now that the trans is lowered. May also do shocks depending on how the cookie crumbles while the driveshaft is out.

On the way way home from helping my daughter and her disaster landscaping... I detoured and picked up some misc steel for a couple welding projects I've got going. With any luck... I will get a couple days to totally devote to the truck after Sunday.
