What did you do to your 2019 and up Ranger today?

On my setup I’m finding out that the front BDS intrusion beams don’t run but the Ready Lift do. And the rear Ready Lift intrusion beams don’t rub but the BDS beams do. Probably should have just gotten the Fabtech beams, but i didn’t want to cut off the nuts welded to the frame. View attachment 138052
I haven't had any crash bars for years

Guys,

What do you recommend to keep Rubber trim black, and also protect it from fading?

I haven't found anything. I might take a trick from the Honda CR-V days and just remove the trim so I can paint it.

Some WD40 will clean it right up. Then a few days later hit it with some tire shine of your choice. Don't last forever, but do it again every month or so. I do mine when I wash it. Which isn't very often. I'm assuming your talking about the trim under the windows

I had to jump start the 2019. It looks like I'm going to have to get a trickle charger for it. Being that it is a brand new battery, I may pay AutoZone a visit. A brand new battery shouldn't need to be jump started after a week of sitting, no matter how cold it has been.

i ordered some 2.3L godzilla badges for mine.

still waiting or the ranger raptor aftermarket grill and the 1" rear lift shackles.

then when the weather gets nice and i have a few day i will install all that stuff and the bedside steps that are still in the garage

Yep, the battery was only at 9.9 volts this morning. I didn't even bother trying to charge it. I just pulled it out of the truck and took it right to AutoZone for an exchange. So, it has a new battery, again. Let's see how long this one lasts.

Drove through a medium-sized snow drift at the cemetery. Temp was -3* this morning.

drove to work and decided to reply to the early retirement email that came out last week. i told them i am interested in taking it.

i am using that as a place holder so if my wife's medical retirement geos through before that, i can also retire. i am not sure if they are going to do another voluntary early retirement through the fed gov this year and i don't want to be locked in for 7 more years if hers does go through.

i am 50 so i meet the minimum age. if i leave now its only 400 bucks less a month then if i get stuck staying till 57.

Mine has been just sitting. With the steering rack freezing issue and it being so cold, I don't want to chance driving it anywhere and not being able to warm up the rack enough to thaw it out.

Once mother nature decides she wants to give us normal winter temperatures, maybe I drive it then.
