Painted the tailpipe black to match the tip and the tow hooks blue to match the truck. Easier unbolted using a 1/2” socket wrench with a 3/8” adapter and a u-joint.

Installed Weathertech bug deflector and and unplugged the cursed tailgate lock.

Took it and famn damily camping. The 5 foot bed is good for a quick overnight but I wouldn’t want to try to load it up for an extended trip. Good thing I have a utility trailer for that.

Installed the M2M lower grille insert just in time to drive across the state to the Ford Nationals this weekend. Keep errant rocks, turkeys, etc. off the intercooler. Installation time maybe 5 minutes

Took the family out for our first camping trip of the year. Got to the spot. Set up camp. Made some dinner and it has stormed on us all night long. Still storming outside. Glad I applied a new coat of waterproofing before we left out.

I'm shoving off for the Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA today. Calling for a chance of rain and my tent leaked just a little at the top middle last year. Ended up pulling the dining canopy over the tent but I will hit a Walmart on the way and try to get some waterproofing.

Silicone spray works great and is about half the price. Just FYI

Finally got the spring preventative maintenance and tire swap done. Well, the girlfriend sprung for the oil change and air filter change since she has pretty much commandeered the truck since the fall. Way over paid for it but she insisted. Tire swap, brake inspection and lube, and the rest, I did.

Fogged the neighborhood. I used the seafoam intake cleaner to hopefully minimize any valve coking that might be going on.
