All my ancestors made it into their late 90's before having any problems and all my numbers (cholesterol, blood pressure, etc.) were right in the middle of normal, so I was right surprised when Santa brought me a massive heart attack for Christmas. But they hauled me off to the hospital, put a stent in an artery and sent me home the next day. The doc said, "If it tastes good, spit it out. If it's a drive-in, drive on by. Otherwise just keep on truckin."

So, life is good. Pretty glad just to still be here.

What is it with the carhartt bibs and jackets this year (I bought mine as an early christmas pressent)

Plus i got a new scanner, 2- 1/2 gallon bottles of Charter 12 (god help me on new years!) I got a few other things ,but the best present i got was watching the kids rip through all that paper and ribbon and seeing the looks on their faces.

Glad to hear you are allright!My wife had one the night before the nat'l election,couple of stints and 2 days in the hospital.Now it's eating healthy and a ton of prescriptions,small price to pay.

i got a few gift cards, new work shoes, and the best was a big bottle of jack with flask, and a 30' super strap, its the one that weaves on itself to hook up to another vehicle

I got an mp3 player, I feel like a teenager! The darn thing is over half full already. That is what I did last night. The stereo in my '87 doesn't have a plug in though. I may have to get one of those adapter thingys.

Can anyone beat an electric pizza cutter? We quit giving presents last year, youngest in the family is 27 and it got silly to give gift cards. Mom just gave out things she had laying around the house and had no use for anymore.
Important thing is that we were able to get together.

I got a invite from a close friend 3 days before Christmas & spent sometime over there visiting her and some of her friends and her daughter and grand daughter & got a home cooked meal. That was my Christmas, since I have no family my friend gave me a wonderful holiday.

I got no presents, cards, holiday cheer. My friend letting me spend it with her and her crowd made me have one of the better Christmas day's I've ever had.

That's awesome. I did the same for a friend of mine this year. He has no family around here except his kids and he doesn't get them til this weekend. So him and my parents came over for a nice dinner here since they also had nothing to do on Christmas as we do the family thing on Christmas eve.

Well, Christmas was really nice this year for me. I am glad that I am getting a little older (20, I know its not older yet leave me alone) and able to take advantage of some of the things that you take adantage of when you are little. Everyone in my family is feeling the pinch of the financial siuation, and since this was my first time home since Memorial Day, it was nice to just be with the family.

I did however get a pair of Carhartt Artic Wear Bibs from my parents, I was hoping to be sailing on the lakes this break but I couldnt get out.

Oh and my truck is currently torn apart in the garage being lifted as a resent to myself. It is getting to be a VERY expensive gift.

tell me about it.. i built my truck an my splash i ran out of vehicles ... now iam working on my dads 93 explorer.. i bought him a lift for chirstmas.. an i have 33s on cragar wheels i bought for it come this spring.. already have a new center section for the front just need to get a rear axle an the gear swap is finished.. totally starting to cost a TON but hey its not fun unless you spend a little right?
