New member here...glad to be a part of the forum.

I was driving one night and it was windy and beginning to snow. At 40 mph down a clear road, the wind picks up and the rear of the truck begins to hydro and we start spinning. I pump the breaks and come to a complete stop with no physical damage to the truck, wheww!!! My question is after the whole ordeal, the "check engine" light now is on. What can I check myself before I bring it in for a diagnostic? My buddy said O2. Please help!!!

Find one of the many AP stores that read codes for free.
Write them down, post them in a new thread in the proper category.
It also helps to state year, engine, trans, etc.
