I've looked and looked but I can't find what type of bulb is used to illuminate the cruise controls on the steering wheel. I guess it could be the 194 but idk for sure. Any ideas?

mine have been out for years now. i'd like to know too, my speedometer has a bulb out too come to think of it

Well the speedo has bulb number 194, 6 of em I believe. I recently ordered 8 cool white WLED-x5's from superbrightleds.com for my dash and hvac controls but I forgot about my cruise control lights! Haha.

oh, sweet, thanks for the info, i'll have to grab me some.

the button cover has come off of my cruise control button, on the left side, i cant see a bulb in there though. i may need to remove some some more stuff to get to it though.

The steering wheel cruise control bulb is an LED bulb. They are soldered in. measure the current and voltage to get a bulb that will work as a replacement.

The ones in the steering wheel are special order from ford, and they will cost you.
Same with the one for the heal light switch.
I have a LED conversions if your interested. let me know what color. blue or green, i can do custom colors like red, yellow, orange, purple.

Well, I ordered 8 leds for my gauge and hvac. Just need em for my cruise controls. And I forgot about the headlight switch and the wheel for dimming! curses...

I can take care of that for you.

Send me your blue or green base and ill convert them to LED
Ill remove your 5mm bulb and place a 3mm LED in its place.

Pardon the picture quality and the cracks in the button, but you get the idea.

How long will those last? How much would it be? And how do I get to those bulbs?

They will last 100,000+ hours, about 6x longer then the ones you currently have.
These are LED's not bulb's.
If you need OEM bulb's or the base,
then head to the dealer and get part # E5RY*13466*BA
The dealer should charge you 5-7 bux each.

As for converting them to LED....
7 bux shipped for the pair if you supply me with your old blue or green twist-lock base as pictured.
If not supplied add 10 bux for new twist-lock bases.

I just purchased part # E5RY-13466-BA from fordpartsgiant.com based on several forum posts I read about this and they sent me 2 amber 194 bulbs.
