What ATVs will fit in the Ranger bed?

Sounds like a perfect excuse for "Honey, get out the checkbook...remember how I said I wanted to upgrade that solid rear window to a slider....?"

I scored a tilt trailer with a fold-down ramp tailgate to go pick it up, so I'm all good there.

A few bucks worth of wood and i could build a raised platform in the front of the bed, ahead of the wheelwells..at about the height of the wheelwells....that would make it easy to drive over them and have 2 chunks of 4x4 post as stops...have them set so they stop the bike just short of the point where the Grizz and the Ranger become one...
The bike would sit around 10" higher in the front, and possibly that angle might just give me enough to be able to close the tailgate...maybe...not likely...but maybe....

I'll figure something out. Anything to avoid having to drag a trailer around.....

trx45r pictured ive hauled lots of bikes.. almost every single one has to be ridden over the fenders..

blaster, banshee, 350x, 300ex, 400ex, trx450r, lt80 etc..

damn this is an old pic.. and yes the bike sits flat in the bed and the factory bumper does not come even close to hitting the glass. the rear wheels are at the tailgate

Thanks again folks....just brought it home tonight, on a trailer. This thing's BIG. Of course, the last buggy I owned was a 125m when I was 17...LOL
Once I figure out the loading and unloading, I'm taking it out to a nearby pit and getting a good feel for it before I tackle any trails.

According to the specs I found, it's 47.7" wide. My shed door frame is 47" on the button.
Tomorrow after work...SAWZALL!

<edit> also, this might help me....the previous owner swapped the front rims and tires out for the same width as the stock back rims and tires, so the wider stance in the front might make riding up and over the wheelwells easier, rather than the narrower stock rims kind of fitting in between and grinding things up....
We shall see.

wow. my wheeler won't work with anything less than 26x12x12 tires. those suckers are big so i have to use my trailer. but that's ok as i use the trailer for lots of other things and here, we have lifetime trailer tags for cheap.

i feel left out so im goin to post pics, we went to a car show and i took the 78' but i took the quad in the ranger(dont ask me why, 8ft vs 6ftbox)
