The best concert performance I've ever seen- and I've seen a lot of them- was in 2018 at the Bank of NH Pavilion. The Charlie Daniels Band played the best set I've ever seen, especially the Ballad of Wooley Swamp and the included drum solo. It was called the Southern Uprising Tour, CDB was up third, following reconstituted versions of The Outlaws and Marshall Tucker Band. I felt sorry for Travis Tritt having to follow CDB, even though I like his music and he had a good set.
I bought that album back in the day and was pleased to find that Tull would be the opening act at Bank of NH Pavillion- for Skynyrd, I think. They were the worst band I've ever paid to see, sloppy and off key. I saw BB King and Leo Kottke when they were both 80 and they were great, as was a 76 year old Buddy Guy. Ian Anderson in particular didn't age well.
