UP THE IRONS!!!!!

If it weren't for Maiden, I may not be into metal. And, I would bet a lot of music would be different. They ARE the pioneers of metal IMHO. It gets no better than the album/video Live After Death for a live performance. I have all of their older albums on the old Castle Records label.

I've been listening to a lot of All That Remains lately.

Live after Death is good but my fav live album is Maiden Japan

I like Paul Di'Anno, but I think Bruce turned Maiden from good to great. I also prefer Nicko McBrain over Clive Burr. Bruce is my favorite metal singer of all time.

All this Maiden talk got me in the mood to up the irons!

Paul is great for his songs Bruce is great for his songs. You can't compare to two. Clive Burr in my opinion is the better of the two. Aces high is a decent song just overplayed. I'm kinda done with their populor songs(Aces High, Run to The Hills etc). Right know I'm really listening to the soundhouse tapes alot.
