Hello,

Can someone explain what each of these vacuum lines is going to and what their purpose/function is?

#1 - Goes down into a bundle of wires just above the air box
#2 - (Disconnected) - Goes directly into the air box
#3 - Goes into some sort of cylindrical canister up near the windshield
#4 - Sits on top of the engine, between the passenger side valve cover and the intake manifold, and enters some sort of valve (?) that has a braided line coming out of it

Also, as you can see in the one picture, the lines going to #1 and #3 actually start as a single vacuum line that has a "T" split in it. Is this normal or was it jerry-rigged at some point?

Thanks!

Not sure about 2, but #4 is for the fuel pressure regulator, #1 goes to the blend door under the dash, #3 is the vacuum canister

Both lines at 2 are for warm air intake. One should be vacuum source. The other goes to a valve to move a flap to pull intake air from very near the passenger side exhaust manifold. For quicker engine warm up.

Thanks! Can you explain what the purpose of these two are? The blend door and the vacuum canister?
