I have a 1989 4 cylinder bored .60 over and was planning on getting new fuel injectors for it. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on whitch ones would work the best in it? Thanks for the help
You are going to get a bunch of different replys,a lot of guys say it makes no difference in size of injectors. What we have ran, when there wasn't a rule against them, was the yellow top 19 or the redtop 24 lb.Now they made a rule against changing from stock injectors so we are running the grays again.Make some improvements to your air intake, run a 93-94 tube header.Did you cut the head a little while you had it apart? We found that 65 thousandths off the head works good for FI system. If you are running a carb, some of the guys have cut 150 off but 50-60 is a good number for the street
If you need MASSIVE injectors and can tune the computer, Injector Dynamics is the way to go, They have injectors from 100Lbs/Hr up to 200Lbs/Hr.
I am running their 1000cc (100Lb/Hr) Injectors in my Bonneville and it still idles and drives like stock.
The biggest difference with Injector Dynamics injectors is that they don't just flow match the injectors, they dynamically match them and then give you the full spec sheet, so you have the exact Short pulse adders and voltage offset tables you need, there is no guessing and then tune pillaging.
