What are some possible causes of a rough ride?

My Ranger seems to have a bit of a wander problem and rides really rough. It has about 360,000-370,000 miles on the frontend without anything being replaced, so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it.

I already plan on replacing the shocks here soon but was wondering if anything else could cause a harsh ride. Balljoints, wheel bearings, bushings, are all things I'm considering but not really sure if it's one item or if I need a complete front end rebuild. Thanks.

ummmmmmmm over 300000 miles would probably have something to do with it.

i would do, shock, balljoints, tierod ends, wheel bearings, wheel seals, and anything else that looks like it might need it like the brakes.

also, tire pressure greatly affects handeling. soft tires will make it track all over and try to "follow the ruts".
