What are gas prices gonna do now?

yeah he is, but hitler was also a genius, so was Marx.

Come on. He isn't involved in any way whatsover with Sharpton or Jackson. This country is made up of many different nationalities. Including so called "ragheads".
No, but he did consider Jeremiah Wright his mentor.

The only way to reduce our dependency on foreign oil supplied by nations who hate us is to use less and go to alternative fuels. We only have 3% of the worlds reverves and consume 25% of the worlds oil. The math is pretty simple. Ask T. Boone Pickens. Drilling is only going to supply a small fraction of what we need. And Obama has come out in favor of clean coal technology.
The last speech by T. Boone Pickens I remember, he was encouraging the use of wind energy to break our dependance on foreign oil. However, the last time I checked, less than 5% of our nation's electricity is produced by oil. Surely he dosen't think wind energy will not only power our homes, but our cars as well.

Have you ever heard Warren Buffet speak? My business partner is a socialist and an obama supporter and even he says Warren Buffet is way out in left field.

Warren Buffet is the third richest man in the world. He believes in a progressive tax system and has supported John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, and Obama's presidential campaign. Read about him here http://www.nndb.com/people/445/000022379/

So I wonder if Bush/Cheney and family are gonna jerk everybody around now... anyone wanna try to predict the future?
Prices are dropping due to a weak economy, and a slight gaining in strength of the US dollar. New York contracts for crude yesterday closed at $63.00 per bbl.

OPEC has asked participating countries to cut back on production to keep the prices up. Algeria answered with a 71,000bpd cut back in production. Others are expected to follow suit.

There is absolutely no way to predict the future. It is rumored that the speculators may get back in the market, as their money is safer there than other options.

Blaming Bush/Cheney for these problems is ignorance of the problem. Same with the Fannie/FreddieMae fiasco.:)shady

The way things are going, and with the job losses currently going on, oil and gasoline prices may be the last of our worries. Major compainies cutting back. GM layed off 18,000.

The market is still in the dumper, and not looking any better.:)shady

Danger, Pickens says that we should use domestic CNG that we currently burn to produce our electricity to power our cars. The wind and solar are what will power our electrical grid. That way the money stays in the USA and we are weaned off foreign oil. This is to provide a bridge to hydrogen, electric etc... are viable technologies.

Hmmmm... he's in bed with jesse jackson, al sharpton, has many photos wearing a diaper on his head with bad leaders of raghead countries, naw---- he's not radical.

be prepared to be SCREWED.

ever heard of photoshop?

Solar and wind resources are good, but can only be applied in certain areas of the US. Anything of clean fuel, I'm a go for. As long as it doesn't cost me an insane amount. Maybe if the automotive market accepted biofuels more readily, the US might not be in such a gas pinch. Ethonal does not cut it, the auto industires need to R&D biodiesel.

Chevy maybe on to something about their new car "Volt".

It would cost billions to produce the infrastructure needed for any of the alternatives to gasoline. Wind and solar is no exception. They are all going to cost insane amounts of money to purchase the power. Anything we do is going to cost far more than fossil fuels. Whatever the solution we as a nation will consume astronomical amounts of it. That will strain the supply and push the prie further. I think it's time to go back to an Urban society where people don't drive very much or just suck it up, open the wallets, and drill.

Ever hear of 'denial?'

I think Obama is going to surprise a lot of people. He isn't radical at all. I mean one of his mentors is Warren Buffet. How anti-capitalism could Obama be?

Mr. Obama is a politiican, from Chicago mind you!!! So we really don't know what he believes and what is just a clever lie.

Look at his voting record in the senate, that tells you who obama is.:annoyed:

good luck getting me to live in a town larger that 5000. It would be a fight to death, And I won't go down easy. I don't follow Al Gore's theory that we should all live in the cities and live in assigned housing and go to assigned jobs and take public transportation (read earth in the balance ........ i paraphrased but thats what i got from it.)

I think obama just said all that anti oil stuff to get the votes of the greenies.

Hes really not as libreal as the gores and kerrys of the world.

later,
Dustin

dude, he is the most liberal senator in the senate.
