Hello guys, here i am with a brain teaser, im working on 94 ranger 2.3 4 cyl 8 plugs., It all started with the darn truck not starting after you shut it down, at first i thought, no pressure from pump, low pressure indeed, replaced pump, did the same thing again, figured bad relays, changed them all, to make along story short this is what was replaced or checked...pump,dsi ign. module (burnt out for some reason),fuel and eec relays (they were overheating),fuel lines (all of them),igintion wires an plugs (due anyways)., As far as not done, diagnostics (due to lack of time), and ckp (due to, might as well say it...Dont know how...LOL).
In closing, the darn thing will not run unless i disconnect an injector, then start it for 20 seconds, run like a mad man when it runs, to re-connect the injector.
By the way the truck smells like raw gas when i try to start it without disconnecting the injector, i believe its the eec going LOCO, and keeping the injectors open, although i checked them and there is no ground coming from the eec after shutting it down.
Any feedback would surely be appreciated.
Thanks beforehand.
