what all years of compressors will fit

hey folks, first off thanks for any help in advance!!! been along time lurker but this is my first post. i used the search but to no help. does anyone know what all years of a/c compressors will fit my 1991 4.0L xltsupercab ranger? it is 4x4 if that makes a difference. im having to replace it all again, few years ago i replaced it and flushed out the system but didnt change the hoses. i guess they deuterated and killed the new compressor? this time im going to change the hoses,compressor,dryer, and condenser which all i can do myself. thanks for any help, brian

If you are replacing the receiver drier and all the lines buy your
parts by LYING to the parts counterman and telling him you have
a 1994 Explorer.

There is a switch in the High pressure line that you will have to get
new (or from a junkyard) but you'll only be using it to plug the hole
in the line, because you don't have the wiring for it.

this will PROPERLY "retrofit" your truck to R134a
