For those of you who have actually done a 2.3T in their Ranger, what did you do about the EGR? Is it wise to block off the EGR with a plate? If I decide to run the EGR, what do I do about a tube for it? Is there a bung that I can get and weld to the new down pipe after the exhaust elbow or will I need to get inventive?

I just blocked my off. On the manifold, i jsut put a 1/2 npt plug and on the manifold, i acutally cut the flange and welded the hole up.
If you are just putting a stock 2.3t in, just use that egr.
If you have something that conveniently works, use it. If not, dont worry too much.

Thanks Davis. When it comes to the V8 stuff I'm at home but with forced induction I'm learning as I go. I'm a bit nervous about repinning for my LA3 but I have a good layout of what is supposed to go where.
