I've been eating more salads and less chicken wings and fries.

For me, I absolutely love steak or chicken salads in warm weather. Sometimes really want one in the cold months too. Best ever was a Cajun steak salad I made with grilled onions/mushrooms/green peppers in addition to the raw onions and green peppers that went on it and 4 hard boiled eggs chopped upon a large salad with of course lots of lettuce and a handful of fresh cut fries. Only thing missing was a bit of spinach.

Grilled steaks (beef loin cuts from a local butcher that only buys local beef) with onions and mushrooms plus seasoned home fries with onions for a Mother’s Day dinner. Also made some corn but not on the grill.

after a late lunch dinner was a huge piece of carrot cake slathered with creamy frosting.

You missed the sprouts. And what about those pepperoncinis?

No meat in that salad - mixed greens, carrots, clover sprouts, fresh mushrooms, pepperoncinis, sunflower seeds, crispy jalapenos, goat cheese, tortilla strips, chipotle flakes, oil&vinegar dressing and some special blueberry habanero honey vinegar from The General's Hot Sauce Co.

Yum.
