Last night...

Mountain pies. I've also heard them called pudgie pies and several other things. For those who are more urban and maybe a lot younger, think "home made hot pockets". This time it was simple pizza pies - pizza sauce and mozzarella.

For the first time in my life... i made buttercream frosting for my 62nd birthday cake. I know it doesn't look pretty... but i won't buy frosting in a can ever again.

My wife thought it funny to flip the candles...

Kinda shrimpy. However the steaks were very tender...

The skewer of precooked frozen shrimp was on sale for a buck, I thought it would be a fun snack while we waited on everything else.
