What’s for dinner tonite!

My grandfather... at Christmas time... would make what he called Christmas Keilbasa. A local butcher... Beecher Meat (let that sink in a bit) would make Keilbasa with a special blend of spices for Christmas time. Was so good and the family loved it.

At a grocery store I don't typically shop... I found this...

It's amazing...

It's a bit pricey but I'm gonna see if they have any left and buy a couple more.

there is a local butcher/meat shop that does Holiday Handcut Kielbasa.
usually made by Eric, a now retired German immigrant who brought the families recipe with him.

I buy some for the sole purpose of leaving it in the fridge for a few days. the wiffie is always sooo grateful.:icon_rofl:

You're lucky...

I just have fond memories of it. I bet it's good.

Rice Balls and Sausage and Peppers.

Premade meatball rigatoni that I spruced up with onion, celery, and mushroom. The sauce, meatballs, and pasta were in seperate packages. Fairly quick but I can do better tasting if I cook from scratch.

A favorite at my brothers house. I don’t know what it’s called. Yes that’s a chicken foot.
