What’s for dinner tonite!


It's been really cold today... the high was single digits and currently 8 degrees.

I started a crock pot full of lamb stew this morning. Never made anything in the crock pot that didn't make the house smell like home.

I woke this morning and knew I was in for a bad day. I get migraines and sometimes even wake up with one already in progress. That's how my day started today. So I went back to bed.
Woke back up about an hour ago so my supper / breakfast is:

I thought the dollar would help give everyone size perspective.

Put 1 pack in microwave for 55 seconds pull out and let rest cause to hot to bite into.
 
I eat.
Hopefully they stay down.
Going to lay back down.

Hopeing the weight loss journey is going well for you Uncle Grump.
I'm 5'5" and a half and 245lb.s last time I went to the doctor and got weighed.
And got no willpower when it comes to food.
I know lossing weight is very hard for some people .

Only in Jersey... apparently they're unsure of what end of the bird to stuff.

I'm officially down 22lbs since January 5th... still a long way to go.

They were not as bad as I thought they would be.

I have leftovers...

Most nights I make extra and portion it up into 600 calorie meals.

Not sure what I'll make tonight. My wife is out of town until Saturday.
 
So with the wifey being away, does that mean it cheat on your diet day?
 
I'm glad to hear that Uncle.
I've made a few changes in my daily meals as well.
First I switched from vitamin d milk to 2%.
Then I used to drink about a 12 of Coke a day. I've cut myself back to only 5 cans a day.
I've also added in more fruits and vegetables.

Before I eat mainly sandwiches like lunch meat sandwiches cheeseburgers chicken sandwiches so on so forth lot of fast food.

I've cut the fast food back to only twice a week.
 
Greek yogurt... berries... granola with almonds and a drizzle of honey.
