To me... they taste like... rabbit

Domestic rabbit to me tastes like very good chicken. Texture is a little different and it's a richer taste, but still similar. It's been years since I had any (wild or domestic), but that's the way I remember it. It could be that I never ate domestic rabbit until I was probably 20 or so, but ate a quite a bit of wild rabbit prior to that.


Now y'all got me wanting some rabbit.

I like to cut them into chunks... simmer with a can of Coca-Cola until it falls apart... add a bit of BBQ sauce... pile it on a Kaiser roll.

Home made Mac and cheese. Shredded cheddar. Pepper jack. Smoked Gouda. Parmesan. And cubed low moisture mozzarella. Added toasted bread crumbs on top. And baked for 45 mins. Served with chicken cutlets. And a cold Sam Adams
