so long story short, i snapped the upper tab off of a 3 year old skyjacker class 2 extended radius arm

i drove out of the trail, then had AAA tow it home 65 miles for free

Man there is no fellow RBV guys around my area except me and my dad. I know of one who owns a 87 short bed 2wd and that's just plain boring. Everyone around here laughs at me when I pull up in a ranger or my ex. Its all fullsize here in WV, nothing against full size trucks, Rangers are just better

Id like to see a full size truck go through the shit we did yesterday haha.. too big.. Trust me it was hard to get this group together.. 2-3 guys travels over 100 miles to get to the meet very greatful! hope they all enjoyed it so we can do it again and maybe hit that trail earlier in the day soo we can do the whole thing

see i tell everyone its purple, they all say its gray.

anyways pics above show what happened, upper radius arm tab snapped off. must just be from the fatigue of wheelin' for 3 years.. both bolts were tight on the beam, the trail it broke on, i did almost completely 2wd, except for one 50 foot section, it was nothing. there was no super bad ass obstacle where it failed, it just broke finally when i hit the brakes.

Hey andrew, maybe send it back to skyjacker and complain to them and have them send you a pair of new ones... then have tim reinforce the hell out of them.

I can attest to that. Their customer service really sucks. And they dont know shit. But I think you do need to try and contact them. Maybe try a texas accent, cuz I know they seem to dislike my california speech lol

so i called skyjacker, they say i have to take the arm to the nearest skyjacker dealer (endangered species looks to be it), they have to call SJ and get an RA#, then they will ship the arm to SJ.

then the SJ techs will inspect it to see if it is a manufacturers defect, and if so they will send me a new arm.

if not im SOL and have to pay to get my broken arm shipped back to me so i can have it welded up.

what do you guys think?
