I recently got my truck worked on at Oil Can Henry's. I got an oil Change, Cooling system flush and my rear Dif. Fluid Changed. After they finished working on my truck my check engine light came on, so I asked them why it turned on all of the sudden.

The guy took out a computer thing and plugged it in under my steering wheel and it still wouldn't go away. He told me it wasn't serious and said it would eventually go away. It's been two weeks and its still not gone... Is there anything to worry about? Could any of the work they did affect my engine in a negative way?

Try to reset the computer and see if the light stays off. pop your hood and unplug the battery, then honk the horn to make shure the charge is gone and let the truck sit for 15 min., then plug it back in and drive it like you always have....if the light comes back on, take it to a dealership and have them look at it.
