Well, so my truck has an F-150 ranger Badge on it. It has dana 60 rear end but the 5 lug in the front. Would you consider it a 3/4 ton or a half ton? lol I don't really know... lol.

7/16 ton, you still have a Ranger frame.

lol yea, it's a wierd one. I will post pics tonight when i get home, i just havent uploaded them yet, lol

Well what the fu. Get on that!

I need to see this 7/3 ton truck. :D

I had a 70 Chevy C-10,it had 6 lug wheels but had a Heavy Duty spring option and I have heard them called Heavy Halfs,I dont know if that is a real name or people just made it up or if it applies to all makes of trucks.

xbox:icon_confused:i thought being out in the shop was a good use of free time lol. jk

lol makes sense then, so the 360 has the ring of death? thats no good, either got to have somebody rebuild it that knows what theyre doin or get a new one then

Well, a 3/4-ton has a heavier frame than a 1/2-ton so that further complicates the figurin'. But the rear axle is the major player in load carrying and once you have a full-float of any type in the rear you can pretty much carry anything that the springs will hold so I guess calling it a 3/4 ton would be fine.

You might as well swap the 8 lug outers on up front and call it a 3/4 ton. I've seen lots of weird swaps over the years...
