yes they did, 200 I6 in 79 to i think mid 80's mustangs and the older stangs

The mid 80's ahd a 3.8l v-6 carbed. 79- possibly 83 had the inline six. And all the earlier ones from 64 1/2+ had inline 6's.

those engines were even sturdier then vulcans are i had one in my 80 mustang, and one in my 72 maverick. the the mustang engine never was a problem except the oil pressure sending unit.

but the maverick had bad valve seals and burned oil bad

i went to the yard they had a exploder the same color and everything like mine. i looked at it and it had fresh warns on it. so i grabbed them. i got them for 10$ a pice.

my buddy has a 200 in his 66 stang and his gf has a 200 in her 81 fox. hes building a 200 .30 over, flat tops, forged internals, blue printed, balanced,decked,oversized valves,copper head gasket, and .46 lift cam,headers,2bbl carb, srt 10 neon intercooler,hydrogen injection and a audi s4 tubo
