well im looking for a newer dependable daily driver, theres a 1994 mustang V6 with low miles by me that stang already has tint, duals exhaust,17"rims, grill, and clear headlights its $4000, or theres a guy that brings in all these S10 and Rangers i could probly get a 1996-2000 ranger but with high miles on it for $1500-2000 there a good deal if you want to do a engine rebuild wich is alright with me. the rangers are 2wd regular cabs pretty plane with 4cyl and roll down windows. wich one should i get the mustang looks much better as is but its 6 yrs older and i think a cool lil ranger street truck would be nice. im not sure what to do i need MPG aswell because ill be driving to university alot but it needs to look cool 4 the ladies

if you were in my shoes what would you buy??? should i get a newer ranger and modd it up

how many miles is a 4cyl good for before it goes BAM!

if it madders i have a lifted 88 for muddin and all the fun stuff

i'd get the ranger......something about a v6 mustang kinda reminds me of a neuteured prizefighter....

First of all. Is that mustang a manual? If not, don't get it.

Motocross is cool- I wish I had a dirtbike. Currently, I am riding Freestyle BMX.

I would much rather have a 4-banger ranger than a v6 mustang. V6 mustang=#1 girls car...V6 mustang with mods that don't really make it fast=lame

The lima is a good engine, decent mileage depending on how you drive. If I were you though I'd try and get an '02+ with the Duratec, better mileage AND power.

V-6 Mustangs are :lame:.

You need a V-8 to do this :3gears:.

oh come on a v6 mustang cant be that bad, i would drive one, especially the newer ones.

if it were a supercharged manual then i would consider the mustang. but a ranger is more useful.

if you already have that 88 ranger i say get the mustang. yeah it's a v6 but with a long drive a back seat will come in handy.

back seat for some lady action if you get lucky enough. maybe ugly ladies cause it's a v-6 stang though. how low are your standerds?

Hey now, the v6 mustangs arent bad, my girlfriend has an 07 and that thing can haul balls, and handles like a dream! While its now v8, its also still easy to get in trouble with. If i were you, i'd test drive em both and see if one jumps out at you...just my opinion :c-n:

Try inflaiting an air mattress in the back of a mustang and let me know that works out.

The girlies dig my ranger.

well ill probly be going to look at some rangers on tuesday i might still try out the stang though. i dont care for the V6 eather but what would a 3.8L get for MPG compared to a 1998 4cyl ill try looking for a 2002+ 4cyl though

the new 4.0l Mustangs are faster than many of the GTs from back in the day.

maybe if you're a midget. Have you ever seen the backseat of a mustang? My girlfriend drives a *sigh*, V6 automatic, convertible mustang, I would never consider it.

yeah i onlyl weigh 150 soooo...:icon_confused:

The v 6 aint that bad, its got some good torque and decent power. If i was u tho, i would get a gt. I have a 02 gt, and if im easy on it (still goin faster than in my ranger) i can get 22 mpg on the backroads around here. on the highway i got 29 mgp once doin 75. Way better than my ranger ever got. If your over 25 years old, the insurance isnt bad eather. I pay 800$ a year for full coverage on my gt stang and the lowest coverage on my ranger.

Honesty, that 3.8 in the mustang aint the best engine ford ever built... I hear bad on head gaskets, etc. I wouldn't buy the mustang under any circumstances. The truck is about 100,000 times more useful. Be easier hammering some broad in the bed than in the back of a stang, too...
