all it does is just click, wont even turn over. if you push start it, it will fire up just fine

yes i did, showing 12.6 volts

starter solinoid? what about a bad battery wire?

battery wire (s) are fine. im beting the starter solinoid is the issue

Jumping across the 2 heavy posts on the solinoid effectively eliminates it as the problem if the starter then cranks.

Don't use a tool you care about and be quick about it to limit the sparkshow. When I tested mine, I stuck it between the two, touched the one post and brought it down quickly to touch the other one. Don't doddle or it will arc.
