I would like to see the ranger (when completed) race your S-10. I'll drive the D-dime. :3gears:

My brother and I toyed with the idea of making a 5.8liter 4x4 supercab and building it with say... 3.27 gears and 31x10.5's

as a highway cruiser....

The thing that inspired the thought was that his 5.8 F250 with 4.10's was getting 18 and tickling 19mpg on the highway with 4.10's and 33's.

We were figuiring that a lighter truck (by nearly 1500lb)
with 3/4 the frontal area and intentionally keeping the 5.8 in
it's sweetspot would create a plains cruiser that could get
mileage in the mid 20's and have plenty of oomph down low.
