well.... i rolled the ranger!

yep, rolled my ranger. i was going about 50mph when i hit black ice in a wind storm. no comp on insurance either. could have been worse, rear of box took most of the brunt. finally stopped on its side, we tipped it over, and i drove out of the ditch and drove it home. im very lucky, not a scratch on me!

this was after it was flipped back on its tires, drove out of that ditch too.

yeah, crazy! when i was rolling, i swear i heard glass break, but i checked it over and nothing! lucky it rolled once it hit the ditch, instead of on the road. seatbelts save lives!!!!

oh, and the worst part was, truck was completely on its side, about 20 cars went by, and only after 20min did someone stop. and they were from out of town. if i was hurt, and didnt have a cell phone, i woulda been screwed!

Yeah, thats about how it works. I stop and help alot of slide-ins this time of year. I cant do much pulling out with my 2WD, but I help get someone who can, and have ran quite a few people to the hospital. All the time I hear "I've been here for half an hour and your the first one to stop." People just assume help is on its way. I dont want to read about someone I could have helped in the paper the next day.

haha, yeah. and another thing was that as i was sitting in my overturned truck, the salt truck went by about 5mins after.... like pouring salt on my wounds as well as the ice.
