well been looking around and found alot of 2.9 to 4.0 swaps 4.0 to 2.3t and so forth but i have a 86 2.3 4x4 5speed and a 94 4.0 4x4 5speed im thinking on putting the 4.0ohv in my 86 i no ill have to do the wire harness moter and tranny all swap just tired of doin 55 for 50miles to my hunting spot 35 up hills on the highway i just put a new 2.3 in my ranger still slow lol so what im getting at is will it fit in my engine bay and will i have do have custom drive lines made im very mec inclined ive done lots of engines trannys so forth but not a full blown conversion i love my 86 and dont love the 94 body style so this is gonna happen so any pointers will help before i get in to deep and start this project will help thanks guys
