Weird things while driving

I had a deer hit me one night... no lie, ran right into the side of my truck...

here in SD thats happened to me a good 3 or 4 times its funny. The one morning me and the ol man go out to go shoot us a nice buck and we stop between to cornfields and a buck ran out and must have been on the scent of a doe had his head down put a big dent with a little bit smaller than a dime size hole in the side of his truck idk how that works but if you ask me my guess is that deer was haulin in order to do that

A 300 pound woman push mowing a yard in a orange tube top with bright blue SPANDEX knee shorts...................with a ciggerette in her mouth.

I DID NOT make this up!Did I take a picture........ ahhhhhhh NO!The image is burned into the back of my eyes.

in other words "i cannot un-see this" i laughed.

anyways: about a month ago i was fixing a trailer for my boss and i had it hooked to my truck while using a torch and a lot of force to straighten the headrack that was bent from a crash(tongue snapped off)

at that time i lived an hour away.. the road is a twisting, bumpy, hilly road. and when i was pulling off the highway i whipped around the corner at full throttle to burn the tires off a little. and BEFORE that i dropped a co-worker at his house and his road is a very very very unmaintained and treacherous county road.

i pulled into the driveway and as i was walking into the house i looked back and noticed something on the bumper- it was the striker for the torch, still there.

I've hit so many things....

Most unique was a horse. My Jeep had been wrecked through a front end collision with a sunfire, which is a story in itself. Basically, she ran a stop sign, swerved out of her lane to avoid hitting another sunfire (her 2nd mistake) and hit me head on going about 70 km/h. Jeep was fine, but got totalled due to high km and a bent steering component. Her sunfire... geez I though she was dead. Not a word of a lie, the front of the car no longer existed, and there was a muddy imprint from my tire on her windshield.

So back to the horse, my Jeep is gone and i'm driving my moms explorer, taking the gf home to her farm on night, and out of nowhere a stallion jumps out of the ditch! Cracked its head right where the windshield meets the roof on the drivers side, broke off the mirror and scratched the heck out of the paint. Its head left about a cantalope (is that spelled right?) size dent in the roof. I stop and get out, and the horse is stumbling around trying to stand up, not a clue what just happened. Drive the last mile to the farm to grab a gun and come back, the horse is gone! Turns out it was their neighbours horse, saw it in the yard, but the dirty bugger wouldn't admit it was his horse so I had to pay the insurance deductable myself. Man was mom mad... but as i was quick to point out, she was getting a new windshield and paintjob for my $700 ha ha. She didn't think that was nearly as funny as I thought it was though

I put about 33,000 miles on my company truck a year, I see a lot of weird stuff and I usually take pictures. I recently noticed however that nobody really cared to see them, so I started deleting them. Go figure.

So anyway, here's my best story. I'll see if I can find the picture later. I was on i95 north at 2pm on a Saturday and traffic was stopped dead. So for half an hour I was wondering why traffic was crawling. I finally figured out why, in the south bound side a big rig had rear ended somebody pulling his rather large boat with one of the new Tundras that had just came out a couple months ago. It pushed the boat up off the trailer and into the back of the pickup truck bed, hanging over the cab. It seems that everybody had stopped to take pictures going north and that's why it was so bad. As I kept crawling forward there was apparently a HUGE harley get together stuck in traffic behind the boat accident. There was a quarter mile or so where 95 was just bikes. People were getting restless waiting for the accident to get cleaned up and were hopping off their bikes running around talking to each other. Quite the sight.

I couldn't find the boat picture but here's a few. Sorry about the size.

I know it looks like she was just pulling into traffic...but she had been sitting there so long blocking everybody that I had time to take out my phone, get the camera ready and she was STILL sitting there for a while after.

At first I thought some retard had actually ran into the sign....turns out the wind the day before had blown it right off the mounting bolts.

This needs no explanation.

Didn't actually see this on the road, it was in the bathroom at a Royal Farms I stopped at.

Yes that really is a 70 year old woman on a scooter. Right before I had taken the picture she was talking to someone on an old giant cellphone as well.

Yes, that really is a horse drawn cart at a diesel gas pump. I'd hate to think where they planned on pumping the diesel into.

I'd hate to do the emissions test on that vehicle!

Must have been near Amish country in PA.

I took that just outside of Dover, Delaware. Not even ten miles from the state capital.

Hmmmm. I gues in that area you couldn't tell the horse shit from all the other shit (gov't & otherwise) around there.

Maybe he had a tank on the wagon?

Most likely. There's a lot of Mennonites down that way and a few do lawn service. Always weird seeing a horse pulling a cart full of lawn mowers. A few of them actually have termites contracts with my company too.

It's honest work.

I wonder of any of the operate eco-limos for the green set down there?

Can't quite understand that last part...

As for the first part, definitely. All the ones whom I've had to do termite inspections for have been really good people.

Anyway, enough with the thread jack. What other kinds of crazy stuff have you guys seen? Pics make it even better!

About 15 minutes ago, I saw a Kenworth semi tractor towing...

Wait for it...

A Dodge Neon!!!

about 2 months ago i was driving into coos bay oregon over a really goodsized bridge that had road construction across the whole thing. And right on top of the bridge their was a dirty ass hobo pissing on the sidewalk of the bridge...kind of gross.
