So last night my truck was running very rough for ten minutes and then the problem dissapeared and I dont want it to happen again.
ill try and give as much info as I can

I parked the truck in the morning at a trail head after just driving it for 250kms. It ran fine all morning. It sat at the parking lot for 6 hours in -5 c.
When I got back to my truck I started it to warm it up and it started fine and ideled perfect.
Left it ideling for 10 minutes while we took our gear off.
When I tried to reverse out of the parking spot it stalled right away(manual transmission) didnt think much of it because my legs were very tired.
Started it again and it ran like shit
a 500 rpm very rough iddle with no power. it was very hard to get the truck rolling without stalling it.

I quickly went over the truck there was nothing unplugged no leaks and no signs of a mechanical issue.

so i limped it out of the parking lot and onto the highway.

after a minute of driving it started to run better. it would hesitate with sudden throttle and buck if I stepped off the gas to quick but it had enough power to drive and was smooth at certain rpm ranges. (3-4)

5 minutes later as I was climbing a hill it began to lose power and deccelerate. i barley made it to the top and pulled over.

When i put my clutch in it was now ideling at 3000 rpms and if i presssed on the throttle the rpms would go DOWN and it would almost stall. I turned it off and on and the issue was still there so i truned it off and looked over it again.
Also by this point I had used a quater tank of fuel.

after i found nothing visually wrong i started it and it ran fine again. Drove the 250kms home and havent had another issue.

sorry for the novel but I have no idea where to start and ideas?

I would be checking the MAF to see if it was dirty at all. Also if it's revving that high it could be the TPS sensor.
