The low side switch will cut out the compressor right at 30 psi, or when the evaporator would see freezing temps. It will usually cut back in at 50 psi.
Once the compressor warms up, the air gap on the clutch can make it not want to come back on for a while or sporadically after that.

Also, with the blower on high and it being over 80 outside, your compressor shouldn'r really cycle until it gets really cold in the truck, so you might be low on charge.
