I've got a Weber carb on the 2.0 that I bought for my 88 Ranger. Holley licensed this carb as well, so there should be quite a few out there. I'm not sure of the Weber model number, but it's a 2 barrel with two gears on the linkage that causes both barrels to open at the same time. What have y'all done for linkage on these setups?

My stock cable will connect to the ball on the linkage, but with my short stock cable bracket, I have no cable travel, with my long stock cable bracket, my cable is right against the power brake booster. I called Racer Walsh & the guy I talked to said to use a 'universal motorcycle cable'.

Any and all advice is welcome.

my 88 2.0 had the computer controlled aisin carb., i wanted to convert to another carb but everyone said there was no conversion for this, i knew i could make something else work, but didnt have time to make something for a motor that needed replaced anyhow, so i am putting the finishing touches on my 2.3 EFI/carb. the carb i am using on mine has no throttle linkage either, i am planing on using a piece of the stock linkage to weld to the valve cover, thus my linkage.
